My primary interest is in the never-ending variance of moods, shapes, forms, and colors to be found in nature. The significance of objects and how they relate to each other on paper become arrangements of my impressions of reality.
The monotype reflects my own feelings. The beauty of the landscape may be viewed as an escape from crisis and pain. There is a deep and personal context being expressed through mood, depth, and color of the work. I invite the viewer to look beyond the subject matter.
